Bill Murray has teamed up with Paul Shaffer & The World’s Most Dangerous Band on a new single and animated video titled “Happy Street.” The video, featuring the animated likenesses of Murray, Shaffer, and his band members, premiered on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and can be viewed now on YouTube. . The video also includes numerous “Easter eggs” referencing touchstone moments in the careers of Shaffer and Murray. “Happy Street” is available now as a single on all digital and streaming services and can also be found on the eponymous album from Paul Shaffer & The World’s Most Dangerous Band, available March 17 from Sire Records. “Happy Street” continues Murray and Shaffer’s longtime friendship, dating back to Shaffer accompanying Murray’s character Nick the Lounge Singer on “Saturday Night Live” and, most recently, Shaffer serving as both Musical Director and Murray's on-camera pianist/compadre for the Netflix special “A Very Murray Christmas”, for which Shaffer received his fourth EMMY® nomination.
