John Witherspoon

Listen to "John Witherspoon Still On Tour" on Spreaker. There is no greater conversation then sitting in the green room with a nationally recognized actor/comedian. Once that door closes the atmosphere changes. These legendary funny people know that I'm not there to record their brilliant jokes. It's a conversation about the reality of the road and all things connected. John Witherspoon and I have spent many times together. Each story is masterfully delivered. Each reaching areas of his journey that one day will be priceless to those chasing the future.

Christopher Andersen

Listen to "Christopher Andersen The Day Diana Died" on Spreaker. Twenty years after the Paris car crash that ended Diana's life at age thirty-six, the story of her remarkable life and tragic death still have the power to mesmerize. Following her storybook wedding to Prince Charles, she had evolved from "Shy Di" into the planet's most photographed, written-about, and talked-about woman--indeed, the most famous person in the world. For all Diana's global fame, much of the human drama that swirled around her death remained veiled in mystery and intrigue. Here, in the manner of his other New York Times bestsellers, Christopher Andersen draws upon important sources to re-create in vivid and often startling detail the events leading up to that fateful night in Paris. Among the many revelations: *Important information about Diana's final moments alive, the accident itself--and her last words *Prince Charles's surprising reaction to the news of Diana's death--including his shock the first time he saw her body--the Queen's bizarre request, and a riveting account of how Prince William and Prince Harry coped with their shock and grief *The broken romance that pushed Diana into the arms of Dodi Fayed, their curious relationship, and whether or not she truly planned to marry him. *A behind-the-scenes account of the battle royal that raged between the Queen and Prince Charles in the days leading up to the funeral. *Diana's spiritual quest, and the warnings that might have saved her. *Final answers to persistent rumors that Diana was pregnant at the time of the accident-and that she was the victim of a murder plot. *At the end, what Diana wanted for her sons, her vision of a future King William--and the American icon she most wanted him to emulate. Diana was, in every sense of the word, larger than life--a force of nature that, as the Royal Family learned, could be neither dismissed nor ignored. A bittersweet saga of triumph, love, and loss, The Day Diana Died captures those last days when Diana's star never shone brighter--and evokes the beauty, grace, heartache, and compassion that made Diana one of the most compelling figures of our time.

Listening Beyond Sound

Listen to "Listening Beyond Sound" on Spreaker. What's difficult to digest is the number of people that ignore their truer talent. We set things aside to serve what's best for the moment. Only to sit in classes in our middle years trying to figure out where the dream went. Each of us could write books about the doubters and judgers in our chapters. I believe it's time to let that go. You are great at what you do because you were chosen to bring something forward. I call it listening beyond sound. There is a dull roar in the center of our soul that knows exactly where you are supposed to be. When was the last time you put focus on it? Yes you are going to change. Yes you might have to wave goodbye to friends and family. Then why change right? Because you aren't happy. Lift your path up and take a good look at why you were truly designed. Listen beyond sound and bring to the world the art of you.

Chris Jericho

Listen to "Chris Jericho No Is A Four Letter Word" on Spreaker. Three-time New York Times bestselling author and six-time WWE champion Chris Jericho shares 20 of his most valuable lessons for achieving your goals and living the life you want, jam-packed with fantastic stories and the classic off-the-wall, laugh-out-loud Jericho references he's famous for, with a foreword by Paul Stanley. Chris Jericho has known what he wanted out of life since he was a teenager: to be a pro wrestler and to be in a rock 'n' roll band. Most of his high school friends felt that he lacked the tools necessary to get into either, but Chris believed in himself. With the wise words of Master Yoda echoing through his head ("Do or do not. There is no try."), he made it happen. As a result, Chris has spent a lifetime doing instead of merely trying, managing to achieve his dreams while learning dozens of invaluable lessons along the way. No Is a Four-Letter Word distills more than two decades of showbiz wisdom and advice into twenty easy-to-carry chapters. From developing a strong work ethic thanks to WWE chairman Vince McMahon, remembering to always look like a star from Gene Simmons of KISS, learning to let it go when the America's Funniest Home Videos hosting gig goes to his rival, adopting a sense of perpetual reinvention from the late David Bowie, making sure to sell himself like his NHL-legend father Ted Irvine taught him, or going the extra mile to meet Keith Richards (with an assist from Jimmy Fallon), Chris has learned countless lessons during his decades-long career. Now, in the hopes that those same principles might help and inspire his legions of fans, Chris has decided to share them while recounting the fantastic and hilarious stories that led to the birth of these rules. The result is a fun, entertaining, practical, and inspiring book from the man with many scarves but only one drive: to be the best. After reading No Is a Four-Letter Word, you'll discover that you might have what it takes to succeed as well...you just need to get out there and do it. That's what Jericho would do.
Listen to "Writing Page" on Spreaker. I wish life was like daily writing. What you put down on page one normally has nothing to do with what will spill out on pages two thru whatever. We switch personalities quicker then the weather changes in the south. Part of the reason why is because of the circle invasion. We all take up space. Some want more then they should get. Our circles of energy are not up for the taking yet we allow the intruder to grab hold of what little you have left. We're guilty in this process. How often are you nice to someone because its better to lift them then tell the truth? Only to realize you've now become their free can of pick me up. Know where you spread your source of flow and how you deliver it to others. When someone steps into your circle make sure they don't take over. Sure you're going to look like a jerk. And what do they look like to you when they've trashed your energy supply? God only gives you so much power everyday. How much of it is wasted on the passerby? Regain the supply by being upfront and honest with your circle.

Nilofer Merchant

Listen to "Nilofer Merchant The Power Of Onlyness" on Spreaker. In THE POWER OF ONLYNESS, Merchant reveals that, in fact, we have now reached an unprecedented moment of opportunity for your ideas to “make a dent” on the world. Now that the Internet has liberated ideas to spread through networks instead of hierarchies, power is no longer determined by your status, but by “onlyness”—that spot in the world only you stand in, a function of your distinct history and experiences, visions and hopes. Merchant makes a powerful argument for why the functionality of society will depend on how well we develop systems to better support the purpose and passions of all people.

The Lyrics From Billy's Forest Chapter 77

Listen to "The Lyrics From Billys Forest Chapter 77" on Spreaker. Like a great movie or favorite song the most recent total solar eclipse is still very much alive in my everyday walk. I can't help but wonder if its because my focus during those three minutes of transformation were off the physical bright light becoming dim and more on the reaction of everything around me. Sitting inside the forest to fall witness to how the other living things reacted to something that has been taught to us by way of science, education and social media endlessly discussing that golden moment. The birds disappearing from the scene was a unique experience only to hear a single owl hoot four times in the center of the eclipse. But that wasn't the only exchange of natural expression. The temperature changed in ways that invited a breeze which gave the leaves on the trees a reason to move rather than look down. It was within that moment that I realized something so simple... this must be a visual of what loneliness looks like. No light to warm and no sound to soothe. Only an owl that kept his guarantee to protect those walking in distance.

Erick Morillo

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update Erick Morillo" on Spreaker. Not being the first but being unique with what was available is what helped Erick Morillo push beyond the competition. Something as simple as releasing CD's without shrink wrap served as an invitation for fans and followers to instantly seek out his beats. His latest release on rBeatz Radio has him teamed up with Kryder a song called Waves.

Maggie Lindemann

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update Maggie Lindemann" on Spreaker. I often wonder if we truly knew the roots of what a song came into being if it would still be located on our present day soundtracks. Is it our interpretation or the artists way of dealing that puts the beats and riffs on the paths of forward motion. For Maggie Lindemann people endlessly dealt with her social network posts with these words, "She's just another pretty girl." It's her latest release on rBeatz Radio.

Michael Apted

Listen to "Michael Apted Director Of Unlocked" on Spreaker. Director Michael Apted was born on February 10, 1941 in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England. After studying law at Cambridge University, he promptly turned his attention to film, directing the popular English soap opera "Coronation Street" by the age of 22. In 1963, Apted was a researcher on "7 Up," a television documentary directed by Paul Almond that interviewed 14 seven-year-olds, drawn from every social class in London, about their lives, innermost thoughts and aspirations. On his own, Apted followed-up with the "7 Up" subjects every seven years, to create " 7 Plus 7" (1970), "21 Up" (1977), "28 Up" (1984), "35 Up" (1991), "42 Up" (1998), "49 Up" (2005) and "56 Up" (2012). Though his style holds true to his documentarian roots, Apted has also earned acclaim for his dramatic features. Early films included "Triple Echo" (1973) and "Stardust" (1975); more mainstream fare followed in the 1980s with two bios of note, "Coal Miner's Daughter" (1980) about country singer Loretta Lynn, played by Sissy Spacek who took home the Oscar for the role, and the Academy Award-nominated film about conservationist Dian Fossey, "Gorillas In The Mist" (1988), starring Sigourney Weaver. He then told the story of Native American activist Leonard Peltier in 1992's "Thunderheart." His 1994 feature "Nell" starred Jodie Foster as a childlike forest dweller forced into society, and his thrillers "Extreme Measures" (1996) and "The World Is Not Enough" (1999) pushed his work even further into the mainstream. In 2001, the tireless director received winning reviews for the wartime thriller "Enigma" followed by the Jennifer Lopez revenge flick "Enough" in 2002. Other films he directed include: "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" (2010), "Chasing Mavericks" (2012) and "Unlocked" (2016). Apted has won several British Academy Awards for his work in television, which started in the 1960s to present day. Most recently, he's directed episodes for "Rome" (2006), "Masters of Sex" (2013), and "Reckless" (2014). ABOUT MICHAEL APTED'S UNLOCKED, OPENING IN THEATERS FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 1st After failing to apprehend the terrorist behind a Paris attack that claimed dozens of lives, CIA agent Alice Racine (Noomi Rapace) is forced to live in London as a caseworker. Unexpectedly, she is called back into action by her mentor, Eric Lasch (Michael Douglas), when the CIA discovers intel of another imminent attack. While "unlocking" the suspect, Alice discovers that the classified information she has uncovered has been compromised. Running for her life, Alice turns to ex-soldier Jack (Orlando Bloom) to prevent a lethal biological attack on the citizens of London.

Blank Spots

Listen to "Facing Blankness" on Spreaker. We all face those moments where we can't figure out why we just went blank. Learning how to study the moment takes a lot of concentration. Knowing where you are while having the courage to be truthful to the moment. But most of us don't find faith in that. We choose instead to quickly label it a moment of becoming old. I believe it's a battle between a self that can't keep it's fingers out of a past you can't change or it's your eyes set too far into the future and the present can't keep up. Learning how to separate the energy is an ongoing change and challenge. Understanding it is the greater victory.

French Horn Rebellion

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update French Horn Rebellion" on Spreaker. The moment you set free a creative mind inside a studio sound is going to be reinvented. French Horn Rebellion has proved that to be true. Everything exuding from their latest release on rBeatz Radio was created by a French Horn. Then through modern technology newer waves of beats and sounds became their normal. The song is called Presentation.

His latest release on rBeatz Radio has him teamed up with Like Mike OPA.

Believe In Your Beginning

Listen to "Believing In Your Beginning" on Spreaker. Why do we get up so early? Only to have bosses, friends and family members expecting us to bring the performance, project and energy to the moment of arrival. I get it! Farmers rose with the sun to get the job done. But that's not how we're programmed in 2017. Most places of business have your skills going in fifteen different directions. When the job is finished you switch hats and take on a new task. Putting in an eight hour day feels more like 20. And for some... Just to make ends meet they're pulling off a full and a part time position. Only to wake up early the next day and begin the process again. Regaining control is an extremely difficult journey. Saying you're going to do it is completely different from the physical evidence of you protecting yourself. What then becomes the release? An argument? Too much energy wasted. Give everything you've got away? Not good the recovery from emptiness is painful. Believe in your daily new beginning by grasping onto the real you and not the business person. Bosses will never change. Expectation is what keeps their jobs. Your daily new beginning has to be a place of love, peace, trust and faith. Being there for yourself as the sun is rising helps strengthen the reasons why you're leaning.

Poo Bear

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update Poo Bear" on Spreaker. Earning a Grammy award doesn't open the door for there to be laid back times. Poo Bear says you've got to work harder. Being a songwriter puts him on a stage of putting together pieces that listeners will soon be humming. That journey can't take place until you've penned out lyrics that inspire the likes of Usher and others. His latest release on rBeatz Radio has him teamed up with Skrillex Would You Ever.

Kryder

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update Kryder" on Spreaker. My favorite stories are always the unexpected moments that turn into a shift in careers. Before developing the persona of Kryder he was a record producer and promoter. Then one day before a live set for another artist someone took note of the beats playing. It was Kryder's. The journey changed almost overnight. His latest release on rBeatz Radio has him teamed up with Eric Morrillo a song called Waves.

Milo Gore

Listen to "Milo Gore Watch The Tide" on Spreaker. Watch the Tide’ is the debut EP from multi-instrumentalist, Milo Gore. Transcending Indie artistry with his admirable ability to combine organic yet nostalgic melodies, Gore describes his music as ‘rough around the edges but forever powerful and genuine’. The 6 track EP, produced by Max Waymark, displays acoustic qualities with refreshingly raw lyricism. Bursting with personality, each track experiments with the traditions of sound engineering, drawing influence from Folktronica artists Bon Iver and Ben Howard. The band, formed by a group of friends from University, provide undeniable personality in their musicianship. Gore describes the music as an ‘escape’ and believes that as a result, he explores his experiences within his craft. As an exploration of Mental Health, ‘Watch the Tide’ demonstrates a variety of themes, however, the band beautifully embrace their mantra ‘Forever Whatever’ and produce a sound that is playful, inventive and full of character. Gore comments ‘we jumped to recording in my shoebox of a rented room... a squeeze but we managed. A real test but we all really enjoyed it - good vibes and hard work pays off!’ At it’s heart, the defining element of Milo Gore is his integrity. After stepping away from initial record label interest in a previous band, Gore claims that ‘walking away from my potential chance, to make music I relate to more...that’s my biggest achievement so far’. Gore describes his new musical process as a free and organic style in which he aims to connect with his audience. With his rapidly growing fan-base and festival appearances this summer, it is undeniable that Milo Gore has a big future ahead of him...

Jill Flint

Listen to "Jill Flint From The Night Shift On NBC" on Spreaker. NBC's hit medical drama "The Night Shift" returned for a fourth season in June. The night shift team of doctors and nurses at San Antonio Memorial's emergency room are anything but ordinary. The risks they take to save lives straddle the line between heroic and impulsive, but are always worth it. As Season 3 concluded, the fate of the night shift was uncertain: Paul Cummings (Robert Bailey Jr.) led a staff walk out after his father (guest star James McDaniel) bought the hospital and fired Topher Zia (Ken Leung). Overseas, TC Callahan (Eoin Macken) was left unconscious after a bombing on a refugee camp. Season 4 picks up just 48 hours later with the crew navigating the consequences of their decisions. In Syria, TC finds that suffering has no borders and channels his penchant for chaos into saving lives. Back in Texas, Dr. Jordan Alexander (Jill Flint) takes charge to keep the ER running while treating more veterans and military personnel. Parenthood forces Drew Alister (Brendan Fehr) to re-evaluate his risk-taking behavior as an ER doctor and in the Army, while learning to raise a teenage daughter. Surgeon Scott Clemmens' (Scott Wolf) personal life remains anything but easy, but that won't stop him from diving headlong into his professional one. Paul must deal with the repercussions of standing up to his father and pave his own way. His rival-turned-girlfriend Shannon Rivera (Tanaya Beatty) and charge nurse Kenny Fournette (JR Lemon) will soon learn three's a crowd in a one-bedroom apartment. "The Night Shift" is produced by Sony Pictures Television. Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah ("Freaks and Geeks," "Diary of a Wimpy Kid") serve as executive producers and writers. Pierre Morel ("Taken") was executive producer and director on the pilot episode.
Listen to "Say Yes" on Spreaker. I am convinced that we allow others to shape our journey and path. Only to find ourselves worried with wonder about what we brought to the surface of the planet. So many want to say yes to their creative selves but that would mean putting yourself out there for judgement. Bosses aren't interested in new ideas. They've been designed to do as they're told by the people above them. I believe the saddest people in business are managers. They know what they're capable of but they put that bank account in front of their ambition to move forward. We're running out of quality leaders and inspiration builders. Brilliant ideas sit on posted notes stuffed into a briefcase or desk drawer. Guess you could say the new American legacy is that we grew up to be followers. Teach yourself to say yes. Give yourself permission to believe in you. Oh it's not easy. You'll probably lose your working buddies. Yeah OK... It's a choice that's quickly running out of time.

Luis Fonsi

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update Luis Fonsi" on Spreaker. Luis Fonsi admits that his childhood home was overflowing with the sounds of music. But the inspiration to evolve into a family of music producers, songwriters and brilliant pianists isn't due to his father. He says, "He has a passion for songs and can tell you wild stories but he isn't anywhere near being a musician."

Black Coffee

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update Black Coffee" on Spreaker. We've been trained to believe the best part about bringing music forward is building the song inside the comforts of a recording studio. For Club and Festival DJ's those endless hours must become what moves massive amounts of followers not just on the digital platform but inside those halls and arenas. Black Coffee confesses the best crowd is the most musically inclined. His latest release on rBeatz Radio is We Are More.

Wolf Hoffmann

Listen to "Wolf Hoffman From Accept" on Spreaker. Wolf Hoffmann is the musician and the pivotal figure in the band Accept, whereas he generates the music and plays the guitar. He truly believes in his band and devoutly loves his work. If you ever attended Accept live show, you’ve seen it all yourself… But besides heavy metal, the guitarist adores the classical music. Every once in a while Hoffmann weaves some immortal classical fragments into Accept songs and he does it with a grand style. But that is not enough for him. In 1999 he recorded his debut instrumental solo album called «Classical», which fully consisted of classical stuff, played in Accept sound: groovy riffs and mind blowing guitar solos. The only Author’s piece was «Western Sky». Some of the album tracks were occasionally played by Wolf during Accept shows as a solo performance. The second Wolf Hoffmann’s solo album is made in the same tone as the previous one. The musician recorded 11 classical tracks, originated by Beethoven, Mussorgsky, Bizet, Vivaldi, Albinoni, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Puccini, Massenet and Bach. The only fundamental difference between «Headbangers Symphony» and «Classical» is this time Mr. Hoffmann involved the Czech National Symphony Orchestra. And this had made it possible the album to sound monumentally, luxuriously and spaciously. It’s natural that before Wolf Hoffmann many have tried to combine heavy metal and the classics. Some of them succeeded, some are not. But in case of Wolf Hoffmann, this works perfect. That’s because he plays exactly what he has passion for. There is no hypocrisy in his «Headbangers Symphony». /Translation from Russian – Andrey Golovkin/

T Jefferson Parker

Listen to "T Jefferson Parker The Room Of White Fire" on Spreaker. A former Marine, Roland Ford has devoted his life to fighting the good fight—to doing what is right and just, for himself, his country, and the people he loves. But now, some 15 years later, after leaving the Corps and subsequently losing his beloved young wife in a plane crash, Ford is a broken man. To make ends meet, Ford has become a private detective near San Diego. He’s good at his job, and it’s earned him a reputation as one of the best trackers on the West Coast. On the outside, the mental-health facility known as Arcadia looks extraordinary, but looks can be deceiving. At its heart, Arcadia is essentially a prison—and now, one of its most enigmatic residents has managed to escape. Clay Hickman came to Arcadia three years ago. An Air Force vet, he served in the second Iraq war and was deemed a danger to himself and others, suffering from schizoaffective disorder and bipolar syndrome. He was violent and depressed. Or at least that’s what Ford learns when he is hired to find Hickman. What’s immediately intriguing to Ford is the cast of people surrounding Hickman, both before and after his escape. The mystery will truly unravel when Ford begins to suspect the truth: Clay Hickman’s military record is not what it is purported to be. Someone has fudged the truth, and whatever really happened—both to him and because of him—is perhaps the reason that Clay has gone into hiding and so many people are eager to find him… and why some will kill to get to him.

The Lyrics From Billys Forest Chapter 76

Listen to "The Lyrics From Billys Forest Chapter 76" on Spreaker. In the movie Beautiful Mind Russell Crowe's character not only dealt with but lived with several mental beasts. Those voices in your head and heart that seem to always win invisible confrontations. Within my daily writing I've often described them as being faceless beasts. When you look in the mirror you can't see them. When you speak with others they can't find any shape they carry anywhere on your frame. A faceless beast isn't always evil. If you look around they're everywhere. People that act one way at work or school but are completely opposite when in different places. The roles we play are the image of the beast within. We become so that we can't be overcome. We rely on the energy of the beast to move us through moments. By giving them a little power it serves as an invitation for them to stay. Eventually taking control of decisions. When the environment changes but the beast stays the same... Now we have the struggle. Winning before the beast arrives is a step in the right direction.

21 Savage

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update 21 Savage" on Spreaker. Image is everything. It's drilled into our passion and drive. Milo Gore

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update Milo Gore" on Spreaker. We're all familiar with the ancient question about what came first the chicken or the egg. Lets put our focus on music. Is it the lyrics that arrive in the opening of the experience or do the beats and riffs give the writer a stage? Milo Gore puts a lot of importance on those storytelling thoughts. It's his band that reaches beyond the pages filled with words and turn the moment into a musical download. His latest EP on rBeatz Radio is Watch The Tide.

Great Solar Eclipse

Listen to "Great Solar Eclipse" on Spreaker. Maybe it's too early. But the most recent solar eclipse had to come with a mission and or story. Things so majestic and once in a lifetime don't appear in front of us for entertainment value. Rather than look upward at the bright light my choice was to sit in a forest. To observe nature during the process of the moons shadow silencing the sun's ray of light. What I fell witness to was a different vibration. All things in the forest except an owl became silent. There were no birds soaring through the tree limbs. There were no nearby deer or squirrels. The temperature dropped and then everything became faded. Not dark. But faded. I sat listening. To watch if God was going to whisper. To reach out and touch a spook if it escaped it's place in history. I was there to be aware. And what I found was a reason to keep evolving.

DJ LP

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update LP Becoming That DJ" on Spreaker. Nobody wakes up and says, "I think I'm going to be a club DJ." I mean it could happen but... DJ LP was on a mission. One that started with walking into a party and realizing they could one day be the life and energy. Getting there meant knowing the vibes and the requirements to keep it original.

Miss Krystle

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update Miss Krystal Ineviitable" on Spreaker. What gives a song it's separate source of energy isn't always the bass beats and guitar riffs but rather the lyrics. Miss Krystle's newest release on rBeatz Radio is Inevitable. It layers a lot of common ground. The best way to do that is to locate the proper respect for organic creative purpose while allowing business of music become a behavior linked to true structure.

Captain Positive

Listen to "Captain Positive" on Spreaker. I could never do Talk Radio. I'm too positive. That's my weakness. The moment a change or a challenge arrives the process is to take notes and become aware of how living in the moment serves as a lesson to be learned. Maybe this is why talking over a 12 second Michael Bolton song intro drove me insane. I was Twitter speaking before the social network arrived. Each of us carry the right tools to turn any decision, choice or bad moment into a sliver of happier times. If you step back three feet from each situation you'll have no problem seeing how most people deal with their negative. They try to give it away to co-workers or family members. When coffee and sweets can pull you up and out then there needs to be a point of release. Sometimes.... I vividly remember the day when an Operations Manager looked at me and said, "I can't stand your positive attitude. I don't have enough time in my day to deal with you." What people don't know is why the attitude exists. It's a choice. We all have horrid days. People steal from your energy source endlessly. You aren't the fuel that keeps a nation moving. But rather the student of an everyday growing period. What if using positive energy is released to keep people away? That's a choice. Bosses can't get anything done because their bad moods are magnets to everybody else feeling like mud.

Joyryde

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update Joyryde" on Spreaker. When we think of those great moments with our Fathers so many memories are attached to learning how to throw a baseball or pulling off a huge professional wrestling match in front of the flat screen TV. Joyryde's greatest conquer was the day his father shared with him a CD mix of his music mixes complete with an album cover. His latest release on rBeatz Radio is I Ware House.

Martin Garrix

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update Martin Garrix" on Spreaker. Here we are in the center of the 2017 Festival Season. The master mixers are running from city to city to ignite the night lights. But there has to be practice time. Where does someone like Martin Garrix disappear into to fine tune his craft or layout the vibes of a new vision. His latest release on rBeatz Radio is There You Are.

Meg Butterly

Listen to "Mag Butterly The Broadcasters Platform" on Spreaker. I live by these words, "Share your story or someone will write it for you." Sometimes you get tired of words printed on paper. So much of the journey is edited out or the publication will be a five part novel. One week after celebrating her 8th year with the Paul Schadt Morning Show on 969 The Kat, I wanted to bring love and light to the other side of this extremely creative radio performer. Taking the industry forward is a vision meant for inner strength and unending connections.

Carl Palmer

Listen to "Carl Palmer Band On Tour" on Spreaker. Palmer, who was voted by ROLLING STONE as one of the 10 Greatest Drummers of All Time, is also a founding member of ASIA. Since he began in the business in the 1960s Carl Palmer has sold over 50 million records! Here is a video clip explaining the show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAuCHGifvqY&feature=youtu.be Since 2001, Carl has fronted a 3 piece power trio: guitar, bass & drums doing the classically driven rock hits of ELP with NO KEYBOARDS. He has totally reinvented the music of ELP with this trio, which tours regularly around the world (including 5 hugely successful North & South American tours). If you can imagine, ELP with Steve Vai or Joe Satriani in the band instead of Keith Emerson, that is sort of what it is about. Ask Questions

Listen to "Ask Questions" on Spreaker. When it comes down to it most of us can't stand asking questions. Is it because people, places and kids are endlessly delivering their questions? Maybe... But I think it goes deeper than that. Have you ever met a confident coworker or boss that's never asked questions? Standing on the outside of decisions being made only feels like a comfort zone. Truth is it opens doors for you to exchange your questions for complaints. By asking questions you grow not only with experience and knowledge but it raises your game of being respected as well as accepted. How do you teach yourself and others to ask questions? By presenting the opportunity. I'm blessed with the opportunity to share conversations with large groups of students. No lecture or class begins without me shouting out, "Ok I need three questions!" It teaches them to open their imagination and let it have the confidence to grow on the outside of the shell they were born with. The end result has been tremendous by way of taking this child's game to physically giving them the stage with the people of fame that I get to talk with. It's ok to be a people watcher but you'll learn more about the moment if you ask questions.

Arcade Fire

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update Arcade Fire" on Spreaker. The momentum of today's singer/songwriters was pushed forward by the inspirations picked up along the way. For Arcade Fire being in the crowd of a Cure concert ignited more than a flame in the chapters they continue to write. Their latest release on rBeatz Radio is Electric Blue.

Don Diablo

Listen to "rBeatz Music Update Don Diablo" on Spreaker. We've been trained to believe that the masters of music sit down in their private places of play and poof the egg is laid. There's a new songs to be set free. For Don Diablo he's had those moments when every decision and guest brought in to bring the lyrics to life didn't truly have a payoff. The song Give It All physically took two years.

Listen to "The Gardener" on Spreaker. I am convinced that my father is the gardener at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte. A totally insane thought inside an age where when the final page is written it means you've gone up or down. But there are things my father did that became his signature on the plants he grew. To sit in the gardens at the library my eye catches glimpse of that unique touch of his. And every time I fall witness to the presence I can't help but think of the other travelers who are walking about the grounds to keep such a peaceful place so melodic with the spaces we put between gone and continuation.

Jerrett Kobek

Listen to "Jarrett KobekThe Future Won't be Long" on Spreaker. THE FUTURE WON’T BE LONG centers on Adeline—featured years later in I Hate the Internet—a wealthy art student in New York City who chances upon a young man from the Midwest known only as Baby in a shady East Village squat. The two begin a fiery friendship which propels them through a decade of New York life punctuated by the deaths of Warhol, Basquiat, Wojnarowicz, by the Tompkins Square Park riots, and by the rise of club kid culture. Adeline is fiercely protective of Baby, but he soon takes over his own education. Once just a kid off the bus from Wisconsin, Baby soon finds himself at the center of the club kid social scene, cavorting with Michael Alig and James St. James at The Tunnel, Limelight, and Alig’s infamous “Outlaw Party” at a midtown McDonald’s. As Adeline and Baby both develop into the artists they never expected to become, Kobek pays tribute to the last gasps of the gritty, drug-fueled scene of the East Village as gentrifiers begin to trickle in.

Bruce Campbell

Listen to "Bruce Campbell From Ash vs Evil Dead" on Spreaker. Hail to the Chin is the new raucous and sardonic memoir from Bruce Campbell, a follow-up to the New York Times bestselling If Chins Could Kill. Bo Thompson

Listen to "Bo Thompson From 1110 WBT" on Spreaker. In an age of digital change. There still has to be a solid footing. To create an imprint is one thing. To be the imprint is the another. Bo Thompson's journey toward being invited to host mornings on a powerhouse News/Talk station in the southeastern part of the United States looks incredible on a resume. But rarely if ever do those choosing to tune in hear the story of how it came into being. A twenty plus year process that's been fueled by a true Broadcasters passion while keeping a firm grip on the city that watched him grow up.

The Lyrics From Billy's Forest Chapter 75

Listen to "The Lyrics From Billys Forest Chapter 75" on Spreaker. It's funny how people describe their places in the present. Some enjoy questioning it while others float along as if to be part of a passing breeze. The older I get the more I find myself trying to locate the brakes that'll physically slow down the two hands on a clock. My only discovery to date is to find faith in boredom. I love to sit in the center of a mall or a forest and just do nothing. Absolutely it's painful. It would be so comforting to pick up the smart phone and hit social media but that doesn't slow down the ticks of a breathing clock. In those moments of nothingness I hear things that become the fuel to a new step. Never a beginning but rather a continuation.

Monsters

Listen to "Monsters" on Spreaker. Mountains of change don't grow into equal avenues of delivery. Read that line five times without bringing self created judgement against your shapes and sounds. The world of business and the design of our home life and style go through hell due 100% to having to endure change. We're taught to expect it or locate the door. Pretty harsh words from decision makers. Change creates voices in places that so many try to never speak of. We want to locate victory and share the celebration with all in attendance. I love looking at resumes. They brag of the crowned moments of success but I've never seen a page that expresses the endurance of change. There's a better story in how you arrived then what you became. Who is in control of your monster? That beast lays eggs every chance it gets. Are you hiding behind success so you don't have to deal with change?

Brian Wheat from Tesla

Listen to "Brian Wheat From Tesla" on Spreaker. Tesla is back on the road. This comes only a few months before releasing their new album which was produced by Phil Colin of Def Leppard. Brian Wheat talks about the importance of playing the new music as well as the strong hits. The best way to find out what fans are up to is to stay loyally connected to social media. He laughs about being back on the road with Roadies and other stage help. He admits how important each role is. Especially the woman that guarantees the members of the band fresh clean clothes for every performance. It truly is a family experience. Especially when connecting with fans. They've always played a major part in the success of one of America's greatest bands.

Bruce Henderson

Listen to "Bruce Henderson Sons And Soldiers" on Spreaker. Joining the ranks of Unbroken, Band of Brothers, and Boys in the Boat, Sons and Soldiers tells the little-known saga of young German Jews who fled Nazi Germany in the 1930s, came of age in America, and returned to Europe at enormous personal risk as members of the U.S. Army to play a key role in the Allied victory. In 1942, the U.S. Army unleashed one of its greatest secret weapons in the battle to defeat Adolf Hitler: training nearly 2,000 German-born Jews in special interrogation techniques and making use of their mastery of the German language, history, and customs. Known as the Ritchie Boys, they were sent in small, elite teams to join every major combat unit in Europe, where they interrogated German POWs and gathered crucial intelligence that saved American lives and helped win the war. Though they knew what the Nazis would do to them if they were captured, they eagerly joined the fight to defeat Hitler. As they did, many of them did not know the fates of their own families left behind in occupied Europe. Taking part in every major campaign in Europe, they collected key tactical intelligence on enemy strength, troop and armored movements, and defensive positions. A postwar Army report found that more than sixty percent of the credible intelligence gathered in Europe came from the Ritchie Boys. Bruce Henderson draws on personal interviews with many surviving veterans and extensive archival research to bring this never-before-told chapter of the Second World War to light. Sons and Soldiers traces their stories from childhood and their escapes from Nazi Germany, through their feats and sacrifices during the war, to their desperate attempts to find their missing loved ones in war-torn Europe. Sons and Soldiers is an epic story of heroism, courage, and patriotism that will not soon be forgotten.

The First Scream

Listen to "The First Scream" on Spreaker. The first scream a child shares with the world. Why is it the majority of parents didn't figure out a way to capture it? Some videoed the event. But nearly next to all found no way or reason to make it a part of the child's life as they grew in forward motion. They stamp our feet onto a sheet of paper. The vocal imprint though is still left in the heart of those who were present and not available for the one it truly should count for. The mind body and soul of the one screaming. Is it because we spend the rest of our lives mastering the art of screaming for what we want, miss and or favor? Inside an adults scream is a story. A link to a child that went from a nice warm womb to a world cold with emotion. When was the last time you listened to your adult scream? Not yelling. But the releasing of spirit by way of letting the inner core of your present be placed on the outside of a fast paced existence. Listen to your scream. Document it. Record it for later study. Knowing who you are or growing into deserves to be preserved.
