His patients range from household pets to exotic animals and hi innovative treatment plans, extensive experience and surgical skills help to maximize each patient’s chances of a positive outcome. Dr. Beale keeps busy with 10 to 20 surgeries a week. He hosts a weekly radio show about pet health, and he lectures around the world. Among his many accomplishments and titles, Dr. Beale serves as Veterinary Ambassador for Compassion-First Pet Hospitals, a network of approximately 30 state-of-the-art emergency, specialty and general medicine veterinary hospitals, which includes GCVS. He is also co-author of the industry-defining textbook, Small Animal Arthroscopy. Prior to joining Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists, Dr. Beale was an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Beale received his DVM from The University of Florida in 1985. He completed an internship at Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington, DC and a surgical residency at The University of Florida. Dr. Beale currently hosts Your Pet’s Health on KTRH (AM 740) on Sunday nights at 8 PM in Houston, TX.
