The Lyrics From Billy's Forest Chapter 267

Listen to "The Lyrics From Billys Forest Chapter 267" on Spreaker. What day will I return to this page? It's an interesting thought because it has the power to predict as well as pull you back into a past you can't change. Being present always wins because your inner censors can be kept under control. I asked on that day how much the forest will change when I return on a different day. The answer is everyday there is change.

Stream Thinking Go Be With The Receiver

Listen to "Stream Thinking Go Be With The Receiver" on Spreaker. October 27, 2021 What I rarely hear are the inner designs of other creative minds. Although I’m blessed with the opportunity to share conversations with actors, musicians, authors and yes even chefs, doctors and motivational speakers. The daily goal is to get to that single place where someone who is listening can hear for themselves that they aren’t alone. That’s what this has always been about. You aren’t alone. Creative minds need to help share the process of becoming part of this gallery of art. There’s so much history in all shapes and shades of the performance. But what we aren’t getting are the experiences of those who keep trying. No fame. No large money. They hold the craftsmanship of the performance. The struggles and the silent nights go unheard. They reach beyond and not back. Not everybody’s supposed to make it. But we can endlessly keep trying.

I Can't Live Without It

Listen to "I Can't Live Without It" on Spreaker. October 13, 2021 When written thought becomes spoken word. Will it be enough to inspire action? No matter how strong your heart is, at the drop of a hat human emotion easily turns into a follower. When projected a single thought plants a seed. Ultimately it’s our choice to believe. We play the white picket fence game. Pitting the right side against the left. Both sides could be right. How is that possible? Leaders say things over and over so that those following begin to believe. It’s like radio and television commercials that convince you to buy a product. You didn’t need it until they said you did. Amazon has made billions banking on telling you what you need. As a daily writer I study thought. That doesn’t mean I have mine under control. It means I’m aware of what has strength and what shouldn’t be set free. Which is an awkward way of moving through traffic in an age when sounding off about any subject gets you hits on social media. It’s as if we’ve given ourselves permission to bark like dogs. But are you biting? This reminds me of my neighbor. About fifteen years ago he sent out an email to everybody around him asking us to quiet our dogs. Please this barking is getting out of hand. Today he has two very large dogs that love to spread their music through the hood. It proves how you can turn your bite around. Becoming aware of what you write before it becomes spoken word.

The Lyrics From Billy's Forest Chapter 266

Listen to "The Lyrics From Billys Forest Chapter 266" on Spreaker. October 12, 2021 A cool early summer breeze sweeps across my writing. The atmosphere of being present gives sight to my senses. Taking note of last night’s super moon. It was dubbed a strawberry moon. I stood watching as it slowly moved across the sky. It was so incredibly bright. I could see everything the forest was providing. Within our personal walk and way, are there moments of such clarity? What is your super moon? If we had such a perfect view how much would you change? We do it all the time in our front and backyards! It must look this way or it’s yanked. How much of your inner garden is lit up by a strawberry moon? An object that can no longer be missed. It travels with us. Just like a cool early summer breeze. If we were to choose to chase the breeze how far from our super moon will we grow? Will we find our way back? A fellow broadcaster once told me that each of us are given three life changing career decisions. The goal is to locate which one will truly be your calling. What walk did you take that has completely replanted your roots in a different soil and there’s no path to lead you back? Chasing podcasting in 2012 became my way of life by 2016. As big as it is around the world there are way too many choices for listeners. If I had known this nine years ago would the super moon have led me in a different direction? What choice did you make because a super moon cleared the debris? You jumped and there’s no way you can get back? In 1997 I began a creative journey with paint on a canvas. I really enjoyed seeing it in galleries then getting to know each and every new owner. By 2005 the art was featured in New Orleans. Bad show. Very bad show. I’ve not put paint on a canvas ever since. I can’t locate the super moon. Locating your super moon is one thing. Trust it means? How much are you willing to give?

Life As Its Happening

Listen to "Life As It's Happening" on Spreaker. October 6, 2021 Working on the future. As much as I talk about living in the present, my wife on the other hand is a very heavy duty planner of the future. At 8am she’s already laid out the ground work for what we’re going to be doing late tomorrow. This is a very difficult place for me to be in. I live here. In the now. Not tomorrow at 2pm. Don’t get me wrong! I totally respect her walk and way. She wants to be prepared for the project if something goes wrong. But! All week, it was supposed to rain. She prepared her path expecting to be set free in several torrential downpours. Not one drop has fallen in three days. She’s wasted a lot of energy on writing a story that didn’t take place. When in reality we should be living life as its taking place. Being a silent watcher I take note of the amazing amount of stress others put themselves through because they think everything’s falling apart or will soon crumble into itty bitty pieces. The ability to fear is based on choice. Getting that machine under control requires awareness. Being mindful of what’s happening right here right now. If it’s not going great at work then fix it. If you sit around the office moping over an event that’s hours away it’s going to mentally and physically beat you to pulp. Only to realize nothing happened in the end. Working on your future starts with staying right here in the present.

The Lyrics From Billy's Forest Chapter 265

Listen to "The Lyrics From Billys Forest Chapter 265" on Spreaker. October 5, 2021 Four months ago I sat in the forest writing about the first tropical storm of the season. Miss Claudette was pouring sips of water into the several layers of what makes this collection of trees possible. I caught a solo doe in between some of those layers. She was gnawing on leaves from a fallen branch. Nature doesn’t seem to be bothered by the atmosphere. Maybe because all the other living things don’t walk into a grocery store to purchase water in a bottle. Their source of food isn’t cut up and wrapped for better freshness. The animal kingdom. Oh how it’s come to rely on the human’s mess or lack of consumption. Starting first with the dog. They beg because started it! We can’t let table scraps go to waste. I believe this tropical storm is washing our human scent off everything that’s been touched. The animals know how to make something out of nothing. Then again, that’s a judgement. Just because I don’t see a box of candy nearby doesn’t mean what the momma doe is eating isn’t just as sweet. The elegance of the dance. Watching nature teaches the human ego to humble up.

Mind Your Own Business

Listen to "Stream Thinking Mind Your Own Business" on Spreaker. October 4, 2021 Stream thinking! Writing what you feel right now. Ten minutes without judgement or editing. Free form thinking. See who you really are versus the sculpted character put on daily display. My entire childhood my mother endlessly told her five children to mind their own business. To do whatever it takes to keep our noses away from other people’s situations. Try doing that today! Everybody wants to get into your business. They act as if it belongs to them. If the information isn’t shared? You’ve been there! People begin to make up your story. We’re all guilty of getting into other people’s business. Especially on social media. Every post you put up is nothing more than you wanting to get into other people’s business. Advertisers love this! It’s because we are the new age generation of influencers. The drama we provide on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tik Tok feed the need to know. We’re addicted to sharing our business and getting into other people’s business. Gene Simmons says it best, “If you want it to be bigger than life you have to make it bigger than life. Or nobody’s coming to your performance.”

Unplugged and Totally Uncut October 1st

Today! Friday October 1st on Unplugged and Totally Uncut! On April 14, 1865, after nearly a year of conspiring, John Wilkes Booth shot Abraham Lincoln as the president watched a production of Our American Cousin at Ford's Theatre. Lincoln died the next morning. Twelve days later, Booth himself was fatally shot by a Union soldier after an extensive manhunt. The basic outline of this story is well known even to schoolchildren; what has been obscured is Booth's motivation for the act, which remains widely misunderstood nearly 160 years after the shot from his pocket pistol echoed through the crowded theater. John Rhodehamel posted at 11am https://www.spreaker.com/episode/46773936 Ryan Jay reviews Venom 2 Let There Be Carnage. He says it's far better than the original but still lacks the comedic edge of Ryan Reynolds in Dead Pool. It's still a great movie to see on the theater screen. When you see a title like Diana Musical what do you think? Diana Ross? Nope this feature on Netflix is all about Princess Diana and its a musical! The music written by Bon Jovi's keyboardist. A must see for fans of musicals and be prepared for the Rock edge. And finally what's up with this film called The Guilty? Ryan Jay reviewed it and says the Netflix feature is one you can miss. Its adapted from a 2018 Danish crime thriller. 1pm post https://www.spreaker.com/episode/46774582 Actor and singer-songwriter Alicia Witt has been acting since the age of 7, when she made her film debut in David Lynch's sci fi classic Dune. She was most recently seen in I Care A Lot on Netflix, starring Rosamund Pike and Dianne Wiest, and leading the cast of the December release Modern Persuasion. 4pm post https://www.spreaker.com/episode/46774141 Then we're Playing it Forward with Hollywood bad guy Robert Davi who stars in the new heist/love story movie I Love us. 7pm post https://www.spreaker.com/episode/46774283 And finally on Arroe Unplugged when being uncertain becomes your new normal numbness. 10pm post https://www.spreaker.com/episode/46774283

Theater Of The Mind

Listen to "Theater Of The Mind" on Spreaker. October 1, 2021 A blank page isn’t a writing voice. Ultimately the ink must stain whatever message is glued to the universe. To pry it free might offer an innocent crumbling. To sit and wait for the thought to dance softly with the page could take too much of what little time is left. Because it’s October, the sun isn’t too quick to rise across the eastern horizon. It plays games with millions who are affected by a lack of light. Research shows it causes a shortage of serotonin. Which can cause a feeling of depression. The way I deal with it is with artificial lighting. My entire space is completely lit up. In my writing place there are three lamps on me. In the recording studio there’s lighting from every angle. Only to realize two of the greatest features on this everyday creative walk are the windows overlooking the beautiful forest. It’s very dark outside the windows. Oh boy. It would seem so simple to put shades and or curtains up. That’s like walking up to a comedian and saying, “Tell me a joke.” Creative minds don’t enjoy the feeling of being trapped. A blank page isn’t a writing voice. Ultimately the ink must stain whatever message is glued to the universe. There’s a huge chance you go through these same mindsets this time every year. Surrounding yourself with light is a huge lift. You can’t lay in bed until the sun elects to get up! Learning to hear the inner core of your creative process will help you find peace of mind. I’m not going to light up the forest at 5am. I did take note of something while watching television news. Lighting from beneath the talent on the tube. Giving off the sense of there being light. It’s a work in progress. Getting Fall under control.
