Adiós was recorded at Station West in Nashville following Campbell’s “Goodbye Tour” which he launched after revealing he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. As Campbell’s wife of 34 years, Kim Campbell, explains in the album’s touching liner notes, “Glen’s abilities to play, sing and remember songs began to rapidly decline after his diagnosis in 2011. A feeling of urgency grew to get him into the studio once again to capture what magic was left. Campbell’s daughter Ashley plays banjo on the song and joins her dad on several tracks on the album. Other songwriters featured include Roger Miller with “Am I All Alone (Or Is It Only Me),” which begins with a home recording of Miller singing the tune at a guitar pull before going into Campbell’s rendition with Vince Gill on harmonies, Dickey Lee’s honky tonk heartbreaker “She Thinks I Still Care” and Jerry Reed’s Johnny Cash hit “A Thing Called Love.” Willie Nelson joins his old pal for a moving duet of Nelson’s 1968 “Funny How Time Slips Away.”   Adiós was a labor of love and a way for Glen Campbell to have one more chance to do what he loves to do and leave a musical gift for fans. Campbell, who turned 81 in April, is in the final stages of Alzheimer’s disease. He lives in Nashville where he is surrounded by his loving family and getting the very best of care.

And yet my heart didn't offer any shades or shadows of doubt. Not until after the book was finished in the closing moments of 2015. It's now 2017. The book has finally been published. But not because of my efforts. A higher calling pushed the book beyond the place I dropped it. While daily writing these words took shape on the sheet of paper "All that I write is everything I am." Right away you might think, "Wow he's talking about himself." Not so! "All that I write is everything I am." That was a message from the Great I Am. That book came into being because God wanted the chapters to become visible. It's all documented in blogs and the daily writing. When the book was finished I allowed my walls of doubt and fear to consume the continuation of the chapters moving forward. After I assumed it was long gone from the journey the sentence appeared in front of me "All that I write is everything I am." Once I gave the book back to God. It was published. The middle child in a family of three sisters, she spent her childhood performing in church plays and entertained herself by singing and dancing. Morales continued to grace the stage as she entered her teenage years with a role as Katherine from THE TAMING OF THE SHREW in her middle school’s production of SHAKESPEARE’S WOMEN. As her passion for the arts continued to grow, a guidance counselor suggested that she apply for the American Academy of Dramatic Arts to hone her craft. After graduating from the two-year acting conservatory, Morales continued her studies at TVI Actors Studio in Los Angeles before returning to her East Coast roots. Following her return to New York, Morales enrolled at Fordham University at Lincoln Center, where she graduated with degrees in Communications/Media Studies as well as Latin American/Latino Studies. To utilize her degree, she worked in advertising, at a YouTube network, and as a social/digital media strategist as she continued to pursue acting. Other credits include guest roles on LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT and OWN’s UNFAITHFUL: STORIES OF BETRAYAL. She also starred in the indie drama AN ORNAMENT OF FAITH and showcased her talent in the webseries THE COLORS OF LOVE as well as the short films CECILIA’S BIRTHDAY, CITY LIGHTS, MULTI ETHNIC, and most recently TUPPERWARE PARTY, where she served as producer. Outside of acting, Morales is a budding philanthropist. Drawing from personal experience within her own family and her role on ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK, she supports the idea of helping women transition smoothly back into society after serving time in prison and has set that as a future goal. She also hopes to start a foundation in honor of her cousin Jonathan who was born with a rare developmental disorder called Smith-Lemli-Opitz Syndrome. When she is not busy acting, Morales enjoys watching movies, reading, and spending time with her friends.

Comprised of ten new recordings, eight of which were written by Berry, ‘CHUCK’ is his first new album since 1979’s ‘Rock It.’ It was recorded and produced by Berry in various studios around St. Louis and features his longtime hometown backing group - including his children Charles Berry Jr. (guitar) and Ingrid Berry (vocals, harmonica), plus Jimmy Marsala (Berry’s bassist for forty years), Robert Lohr (piano), and Keith Robinson (drums) - which supported him for nearly two decades on over two hundred residency shows at the famed Blueberry Hill club. The album also includes guest performances from Gary Clark Jr., Tom Morello, Nathaniel Rateliff, and Chuck’s grandson Charles Berry III. Acclaimed author and historian Douglas Brinkley contributes liner notes. Both Morello and Rateliff appear on album track “Big Boys,” which Brinkley calls “a guitar player’s national anthem” in his notes. Goode” featuring ripping solos from three generations of Berry guitarists, to the poignant country balladry of “Darlin’,” a duet with his daughter Ingrid, ‘CHUCK’ truly is a family affair. “Working on my Dad's record has been one of the best experiences of my life,” said Charles Berry Jr. “I will forever treasure the musical conversations we had, and the time we spent together completing it.” Chuck Berry’s passing on March 18, prompted an outpouring of support and condolences from fans, fellow musicians, and world leaders – from members of The Rolling Stones and Beatles, to former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton. Rolling Stone claimed that Berry “defined rock & roll during it’s early years and for decades to come.” The New York Times called Berry rock’s “master theorist and conceptual genius, the songwriter who understood what the kids wanted before they knew themselves,” adding that after 60 years, his earliest music “still sounds reckless and audacious.”

Honey West

This odd couple consists of multi-instrumentalist Ian McDonald, a founding member of both King Crimson and Foreigner, and guitarist and lead vocalist Ted Zurkowski, co-founder of New York's celebrated Shakespeare ensemble, Frog & Peach, and a long-time member of the world-famous Actors Studio. Together, this unlikely new songwriting team conjured the album Bad Old World under the banner of their quartet, HONEY WEST. Bad Old World is filled with memorable melodies and clever and sophisticated lyrics served on a bed of guitar-driven rock 'n' roll played by top-shelf musicians, including drummer Steve Holley, whose credits include Paul McCartney & Wings and many others, and McDonald's son, Maxwell McDonald, on bass. The album also boasts a guest appearance by Graham Maby (Joe Jackson, They Might Be Giants) on bass ("Brand New Car," "California," "A Girl Called Life"). While it's a modern sound stamped by Ian McDonald's world-class musicianship and production, it also bears an instant familiarity, thanks to a sonic blueprint recalling such Brit-rock titans as The Move and Mott the Hoople. Representative of the band's distinct sound is Bad Old World's self-deprecating first single, "Dementia," a four-on-the-floor rave-up that melds a driving beat and rampaging guitars with McDonald's signature baritone sax and Zurkowski's unique brand of lyrical mischief. With a cheeky nod to McDonald's British roots, there also is a helping of sly humor that permeates HONEY WEST: Witness the new video containing the hard-charging "Generationless Man," which pays homage to both the visual style of the Beatles' influential film A Hard Day's Night, and the wackiness of fellow countryman Benny Hill. As is usually the case in artistic collaborations, the pairing of McDonald and Zurkowski was the result of fate — and, in this case, proximity as well. "We literally lived across the street from one another in Manhattan," McDonald explains. "I would notice Ted and his wife as they would come and go, walking their dog and whatnot. We ended up speaking and I discovered Ted was in a band." "We simply plugged in, and immediately clicked," adds Zurkowski, picking up the story. "We had a ‘two-guitar thing' right from the get-go. That very rarely happens. We started right in writing songs." Asked why it took decades to find himself in a guitar-propelled band, McDonald reckons: "I guess I had never met the right writing partner before. It took a while to meet somebody who wrote great lyrics. There aren't that many great lyric writers who can sing and play guitar as well. When Ted and I got together, I was really pleased to be able to do that." HONEY WEST — named in honor and celebration of the proto-feminist 1960s cult TV spy series starring the ever-alluring Anne Francis — was already up and running when the two came together. For McDonald, discovering the scope and breadth of Zurkowski's talents was the catalyst for wanting to create a musical partnership. "Ted's lyrics are very smart," says McDonald. "I like smart lyrics, I like smart music. The songs revolve around a more-or-less complete lyric. That's slightly unusual for me, or for the way things are usually done. This has ended up being a really good partnership." As for Ted's transition from Shakespearean actor to rock 'n' roll front man, he couldn't be happier. "Now," he notes, "I don't lose five pounds every show playing Hamlet."
