You Turn It Into A Song
Listen to "You Turn It Into A Song" on Spreaker.
Spent some time with Dennis DeYoung yesterday. Deep talk. Hearty conversation. Real emotional connection. Especially when he wouldn't accept the compliment of writing such incredible songs such as Lady, Come Sail Away and Babe for the Rock band STYX. He very peacefully said "All I did was put the words down. I recorded them. You guys turned it into a song. You had somehow created a relationship that spoke directly into your present life. All I did was put words down." On this podcast we travel back to November 28 2016 where the daily writer put words down. Here in 2020 I couldn't tell you why he laid out the sentences and paragraphs and yet after talking with Dennis DeYoung there was a new vibration without having to explain the origin. All the comedians I've had conversations with none of them have said, "This joke came from a rough night in Omaha." We watch comedians because of what they put down on paper. We turned it into a song. During the birth of a rising new day in November of 2016 the daily writer delivered a message of seeking the right wisdom for an area where space was required. To prepare the fields for new fruit. In every echo there is a command. Inside each vision we see the guiding hand. Let there ring a voice in the depths of silence and un-repair. I don't know why he penned out those thoughts in 2016. Only that they became present the morning after the President closed the connection to outside countries as a way of getting control of the virus. The depths of silence and un-repair. In every echo there is a command. Are we listening or consumed by what's been said? I challenge you to step away from your normal expectations today and look in the hidden away boxes for words you've put on paper. To sift through old notes and doodles. When a creative mind releases what becomes ink on a page its not for that particular day. We speak to our future selves. Those moments when the 5pm news has emotionally created a disconnection from the reality of actuality. To prepare the fields for new fruit. You wrote words somewhere along the way. Words on a page. It's you that will turn it into a completely different healing.
