Play It Forward Episode 6
Listen to "Play It Forward Episode 6 The Movie Reviewer, Rap Artist And Entertainment Promoter" on Spreaker.
Hey it’s Arroe. Welcome to my new podcast series Play It Forward. A look at the unexpected changes endured by entertainers, writers, camera people and all others affected but not infected by the global invasion of the Coronavirus.
The goal is to feature two different types of episodes. The individual conversations as well as a collected array of the entire picture. Modern day journalism with no rules. Real people. Real stories. The struggle to Play It Forward.
Episode Six: The Movie Reviewer, Rap Artist And Entertainment Promoter
Sometimes I think the best way to share the story of the entertainment world suddenly becoming silent is to talk about the pictures of what life looks like at the NY Stock Exchange when rock bottom has been hit.
Ryan Jay is best known for his national reviews of Hollywood’s newest releases. The way he’s playing it forward is by taking the same steps the rest of us are. There are a ton of television shows, movies, documentaries and other priceless shapes of entertainment on Disney+ Netflix, Hulu and more. Ryan’s finding a silver lining.
One subject that comes up a lot is based on how single people are making their way through this current season of change.
What’s the one thing Ryan Jay could love to see come out of this?
Canadian Rap artist Mo Littles was set to perform at SXSW. They were the first major festival to pull away from the performance. He was quick to find something he didn’t have much of.
As for being down in the dumps or facing writers block?
Entertainment Promoter Jody Glisman Best never misses a beat. She’s always on the street making sure the writers, producers, musicians and actors she represents is up close and sharing stories with on air talent all over the world. Not by fault but listeners on this end of the entertainment industry tend to forget about those making it possible for us to see, hear and experience brand new music, movies, books and more.
