Donna Chavous
Listen to "Donna Chavous From Intervention On A&E" on Spreaker.
Over the course of six consecutive episodes, viewers will follow the stories of addicts as they work to overcome their opioid addictions as well as one of the most dramatic recoveries in one of the hardest hit epicenters of the drug epidemic on the East Coast - Philadelphia’s “Heroin Hub.” The team of expert interventionists will work with city officials, first responders and the families, offering a way out before it is too late.
Donna Chavous entered the recovery community in 1994 kicking and screaming, not wanting to change her life. She was introduced to recovery through an Intervention by a friend, family and the local police department. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California Donna, attended Beverly Hills High School and then graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in English and headed straight to the Hollywood scene. After getting sober she returned to Hollywood to continue her work as a Talent manager until she realized she had a calling to help others in their own recovery. Donna now resides between New York City and Los Angeles and has been performing interventions nationwide for the past 14 years and has continued her education in the field of addiction by attending Fordham University School of Social Work in New York City. Donna joined Intervention in 2010.
