Damson Idris
Listen to "Damson Idris From Snowfall On FX" on Spreaker.
One of the last projects co-created, directed and executive produced by the late John Singleton will go on his memory. In season three, Crack cocaine is spreading like wildfire through South Central Los Angeles, continuing its path of destruction and changing the culture forever. Police are waking up to this growing epidemic, and Sergeant Andre Wright (Marcus Henderson) has set his sights on budding Kingpin and next-door neighbor Franklin Saint (Damson Idris) and his people. While local law enforcement fights to stem the tide, Teddy McDonald (Carter Hudson) and the CIA are working hard to make sure the flow of cocaine into L.A. doesn’t stop.
This past year, Damson Idris had a beautiful performance at Toronto International Film Festival starring in the film Farming, directed by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and co-starring Kate Beckinsale and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. In addition to shooting Snowfall on the TV side, Idris recently guest starred on an episode of the critically-acclaimed series Black Mirror. He was also seen starring in the premiere episode of the highly-anticipated Jordan Peele hosted reboot of The Twilight Zone.
