Awareness

You can’t set me free on Google. I love looking up stuff! Stupid stuff. Music stuff. Government stuff and whatever else falls into my pathetic inquisitive mind. Since Covid-19 touched our shores in March of 2020 I’ve been enamored with looking up when the human race began doing this and that? Or why we even stopped. The majority of us wear underwear. For women that didn’t actually fall into play until the 19th century. During the middle ages guys sported linen shorts called braies. Sunglasses weren’t worn until 1913. They were never truly used by the masses until Hollywood actors began wearing them in 1929. Although it’s become cool to no longer wear socks, the people of the planet actually started using them in 8th century BC. It was matted animal hair and were called piloi. On this podcast episode we kind of document that 2020 became the year the world began to wear a mask. And how many upon the planet elected to fight it. The power of choice is not in question. Nor are the items we spoke about earlier. But I’d love to go back in time and see how many men and women got huffy and puffy over wearing undies. Women finally did because corsets were extremely uncomfortable. I don’t wear sunglasses. My wife does. She’s protecting her eyes. Before 1913 when the first sunglass lens was created… Show me the person that cold heartedly shouted “No not me!” I don’t wear them because I either lose them or I somehow scratch up the lens. The gest behind this post is purely based on how there are a lot of people freaked out about others not wearing their masks during the pandemic. In my daily writing I compared it to walking into a bank while it was being robbed. Awareness is the key factor. Staying alert and not being afraid of letting those near you including your boss and coworkers to back the hell up. You need your space. I do wear a mask and fully grasp why some don’t. I spent 11 hours in the sun the other day sporting the cloth and it fricken was the worst feeling. Here’s something to think about. In reality your nose and mouth are your worst features. They don’t make you pretty or handsome. Your nose is filled with snot that travels near your mouth. Your mouth is filled with germs and you spit while you talk. Cover it up! We’ve become the generation that won’t politely say, “You have a booger hanging.” Protect your beauty. Wear a mask. Oh did you brush and floss your teeth today? Come on!
