Harmonics

Listen to "Harmonics" on Spreaker. We've all heard how kids say the darnedest things. I believe we never grow out of that stage. We just stop documenting it. I love reading FaceBook entries because there are a lot of funny comments being released. Then we make our way down the river like a water bug and totally forget that area of laughter until someone either likes it or the social network sends out an anniversary reminder. Because I'm a daily writer I get to sneak back into those moments of pen meeting paper and come across some pretty serious stuff and all too many times a totally insane comment that still has strings attached to the present. The goal is to learn from what's written. Not to measure growth but to see if the lessons delivered one year or fifteen years ago can help build a stronger structure on this journey toward the final horizon. I came across a sentence penned out on April 14, 2016 that says, "Allow all that has shades of shadow to know you've accepted it. But it can't become the wave of the day. Allow there to be a vividly clear picture painted by the warmth offered by harmony." What is harmony? Being a yes person? Being dedicated to your job and family? Being almost perfect? Harmony means different things to each of us. If you personally don't feel harmonic with the moment how do future collaborations come into play? Talk about pressure! For there to be workplace harmony it doesn't start with the bosses mandate. It begins with the way you wake up in the morning. Crap! More pressure! Harmony grows from the 6th sense. Hold it. There are only five right? The sixth appears by way of trusting the subtle existence of there being a power greater than you and through you it will reach others. But if the mind body and soul are endlessly entangled with feeding the other five senses the 6th will never find a place of importance. Having faith in the 6th opens the channels that require growth. Give yourself permission to participate. Make room for harmony.
