Sream Thinking: Causing Storms
Listen to "Stream Thinking Causing Storms" on Spreaker.
September 2, 2021
I’m a stream thinker. A free form writer. The challenge is to spend ten minutes a day putting words on a page without going back to edit it. Being present in your place of now. Trusting the power of now. On the 28th of August I found it tough to believe that Covid was brought up on my podcast. I’ve made it a clear point to stay away from talking about it. Like politics, religion and abortion, anything dealing with Covid 19 is more than a Firestarter but a relationship destroyer. I posted the shocking news of Paul Stanley of KISS having been diagnosed. A radio program director to whom I’ve not shared a conversation with since 1993 did exactly what I knew would happen. His choice was to create an opinion. I had to respond! If you don’t say something that leads to ghosting. I reminded him that he was no longer my program director and to please give me a subject that he likes. I am a daily writer and writing is what I do. I don’t visit other people’s posts. I’m tired of the pictures and the one hundred reasons why you hate your job. There was a much deeper reason behind the Paul Stanley story. Rock with the shot gets Covid. I’ve never battled with anyone over the flu shot. Getting the Shingles shot has always created great conversation not war. There’s something very deep about this most recent walk through the pandemic. If I were standing next to my mother she’d be saying, “Mind your own business.” I knew the Paul Stanley story was going to pour fuel into an engine that isn’t turning off. Now to hear that Gene Simmons has been diagnosed is a continuing story. They took a chance to get back on that End of the Road Tour. Too close to the edge of reality.
