Shawn Colvin

Listen to "Shawn Colvin 20th Anniversary A Few Small Repairs" on Spreaker. * In celebration of the 20th anniversary of A Few Small Repairs, Columbia/Legacy Recordings have just released (Sept. 15th) an expanded and remastered edition of the album. This anniversary edition includes seven rare live performances culled from the Sony Music archives, plus enhanced artwork and newly-written liner notes by Shawn and producer John Leventhal plus recently discovered archival photos. * This is the album’s first-ever vinyl release. * The ‘A Few Small Repairs 20th Anniversary Tour’ begins Sept. 30th. Shawn is touring with a full band for the first time since the album's original release. She will be performing the album in its entirety alongside other hits, personal favorites and surprises from her repertoire. Multi-instrumentalist-singer Larry Campbell (Bob Dylan, Levon Helm) & his wife singer-guitarist Teresa Williams will support all dates in addition to appearing in the band. * "Sunny Came Home" won both Song of the Year and Record of the Year at the 1998 Grammy Awards. Among other things, the win is remembered for being interrupted by Ol’ Dirty Bastard jumping on stage to lament Wu Tang’s loss to Puff Daddy earlier in the show. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7duVmArLZH8 * In addition to “Sunny” the album featured chart-toppers “Get Out of This House,” “You and The Mona Lisa" and "Nothin' On Me" (the theme song for the NBC sitcom Suddenly Susan).
