The Soliloquy
Listen to "The Soliloquy" on Spreaker.
I think the only reason why I wake up so much at night is due 100% to measuring how much time I still have to sleep. I've never had to set the alarm. Been that way the entire distance. During those brief time checks I'm either left with a song to stuff into my built in iPod or I'm left a word. At 2:30 this morning it was soliloquy. A Latin word meaning one's self. In drama its when the character speaks to them self, giving off the illusion of unspoken reflection. On this podcast we break it down. It wasn't just a word tossed into a game but rather an answer and a way. Soliloquy has been my walk with meditation. While mentally stepping toward the calming of the mind body and soul we speak nicely to ourselves. Even in prayer. If you're bringing on the word in privacy and or in a group its there by way of soliloquy. Understanding the presence of this word brings forward your reasons to never say, "I've got writers block." First... There's no such thing as writers block. It's an excuse. Procrastination. A wall put into place because the perfectionist in you thinks you suck. Slip into the realm of soliloquy and your imagination opens. In all things we do its of one's self. Some of us get the opportunity to have an audience. Watch as soliloquy comes into play as you make your way back into the world of business. We've been hanging out in our little worlds going on three months. You aren't insane! You've developed a great relationship with your inner self. It loves to be talked to and more importantly heard. The very second you go back to work and start ignoring that inner energy its going to have an issue. Accept the fact that we all talk to ourselves. We're all walking through moments of drama. Having that conversation with one's self is the ideal place because you know more about yourself today than any other time. I couldn't daily writer without soliloquy. I hear the words first in my head and somehow it ends up on a page. Free form thinking. Stream thinking. Trusting the enormous amount of power you hold by setting free your soliloquy. Be yourself on a stage built for that self. Growing forward with success starts with a conversation.
