Picking Up Breadcrumbs
Listen to "Picking Up Bread Crumbs" on Spreaker.
Those moments. We all hold them. The attempt to toss them to the side is always present. Then one day you arrive in the very place you once stood. What did you learn? How can it be taught? Carefully placed in the center of your adventure are everyday seeds. Rather than ask questions about the shape of a present storm, we do all we can to get out of the rain. On this podcast I go back over two years into my daily writing to fall witness to a growing season. The budding moments. Not in the name of victory but rather the furthering of study. Being a daily writer is truly nothing more than dropping itty bitty chunks of bread onto an invisible path of hope. Too often we think a timid squirrel has come along and taken away what we require in order to find our way back. Writing gives me the blessed opportunity to move forward to locate your past. An oxymoron? How do you move forward to your past? Mindfully I live in the present. The now. Now is all we truly own. How we arrived serves as a reminder to remain whole. Grateful doesn't just happen. Being transparent with others is a beautiful place to walk. But are you being just as truthful to the self you're carrying forward? It doesn't take too much to convince the selves we are to step a little to the left. Eventually the invisible path looks nothing like you envisioned. Moving forward to your past.
